NFF to declare Flying Eagles coaching post vacant

The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) is preparing to open the position of Flying Eagles head coach for applications, as reported by SCORENigeria.

This decision comes in the wake of heavy criticism directed at Ladan Bosso, the current coach, following the team’s disappointing performance at the 2024 African Games in Ghana.

The team failed to make it beyond the group stage at the games.

Bosso guided the Flying Eagles to the quarterfinal of the FIFA U-20 World Cup in Argentina last year.

The Flying Eagles are expected to take part in the qualifiers for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations.
