Ngadiuba Listed For Sportsville Special Recognition Award

Chairman of FC Ngadiuba, Prince Paul Ifeanyi Ngadiuba  has been listed for a Special Recognition Award by renowned media outfit, Sportsville.

Ngadiuba alongside nine other respectable sports personalities were carefully selected by the organizers in their Special Recognition Category for their long – standing contributions to sports development in the country.

Notable on the list is coach Terry Eguaoje, Kingsley Awodi (MD Afrikings Homes), Moyo Ogunseinde, Prof. Adeyanju Florence – President of the Association of Nigerian Women in Sports (NAWIS) and Gafar Liameed -36 Lions.

Others include Fanny Amun – 2nd coach to win FIFA U17 world cup, Emmanuel Osahon (FC Robo), Amb. Sunny Osayande (MD Big Joe Motors and Giadomeneco Masari (President Cycling Federation).

While reacting, Ngadiuba described it as not just being a recognition but a motivation which has spurred him to want to do more.

“I must thank Sportsville for this great recognition. I’m indeed humbled to know that people are watching and taking note.

“This has even spurred me to want to do more”, he said.

Speaking further, Ngadiuba called for a return to the grassroots and schools sports saying it holds the key to the revival of sports in the country.

“The grassroot is very pivotal to Nigeria’s success in sports. Both government and private individuals should join hands to ensure the return of schools sports in the country’, he concluded.

The awards will be held March 21 at the prestigious Eko Club, Bode Thomas, Surulere.

There are also other categories listed in the 2025 Sportsville Awards which includes: Icon Category, Sports Administrator of the Year, Innovative Category, Football Administrator of the Year, Corporate Category amongst others.
