Nigeria and Arsenal super junior Nwaneri now flying with England U-18 team

Date:

Arsenal super junior, Ethan Nwaneri, added to his growing reputation last week when he played for the England Under-18 team.

The 14-year-old attacker made a full debut for the U18s against Reading and produced two assists in the win.

The prospect is still technically a U15 player but he has already represented England at the U16 level.

Speaking to Arsenal Player after the game, U18s coach Dan Micciche praised Nwaner’s ‘champion mentality, saying that despite his impressive display the youngster will still be disappointed not to have scored, reports Jeorge Bird’s Arsenal youth website.

Micciche rewarded Nwaneri with another start days later for the 3-2 win at Aston Villa U18.
