NIGERIA EX-INTERNATIONALS CUP: NNL Chairman George Aluo Set To Grace Finals

Date:

..as FC Nwosu and FC Ekpo Battle For Ultimate Prize

All roads will lead to the magnificent Mobolaji Johnson Arena, Onikan, Lagos, where two legends of Nigerian football shall come up against each other in a battle of wits and technical savvy, in the final match of the maiden edition of Nigeria Ex-Internationals Cup organised by Lagos State Football Association.

Expectedly, it would be a day of glitz, glamour and razzmatazz and of course, in a football carnival-like atmosphere.

Several football administrators, stakeholders, investors and enthusiasts would throng the venue for the epochal games. And one of the prominent names in Nigerian football expected to join other distinguished football persons is George Aluo, the Chairman of Nigeria Nationwide League (NNL).

The celebrated sports journalist and astute football administrator, who is also renowned for his unrepentant love and passion for grassroots football development, has equally expressed his excitements and expectations at finals of the first ever Nigeria Ex-Internationals Cup tournament taking place in Lagos, the centre of football excellence.

The first game of the day is the third place encounter between FC Agbai and FC Agali taking place by 1pm.

While the final match is between FC Nwosu and FC Ekpo, the two teams are coached and mentored by two of Nigeria’s greatest midfielders, Henry Nwosu and Friday Ekpo, and this clash of the titans comes up by 3pm, at the same venue.
