Nigeria Lose Slimly To Tunisia On Day 1 of Africa Women Junior Handball Championship

Nigeria did all they could but couldn’t pull the chestnut out of the fire as they lost slimly 42-40 to Tunisia.

The National Under 20 Female Handball team started the match like a house on fire and early shots from Abdoulrasaq Idowu and Nuhu Muinat took the Tunisians by surprise.

The Tunisians eventually settled and it was an end to end stuff between the two teams as the first half ended 20-20.

It continued in the second half and Nigeria would regret the few turnovers as it ensured that Tunisia outscored an exciting team tutored by Coach Bukola Duru, to win the match 42-40.

Nigeria will next play host Guinea
