Nigeria midfielder, Kelechi Nwakali has rejected a move to Swiss club, FC Zurich.
FC Zurich, according to Spanish news outlet, Dario Sport offered to pay Nwakali €23,000 on a monthly basis.
The player, however, deemed it too small and turned down a move to the club.
The 23-year-old was sacked by Spanish club, SD Huesca in March after returning late from international duty.
Nwakali claimed illness prevented him from returning to the club on time following Nigeria’s elimination from the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations in Cameroon.
The midfielder, who was at a time on the books of Premier League club Arsenal, has previously played in Holland and Portugal.
