Nigeria vs Morocco: Super Falcons starting XI for WAFCON 2022 semi-final confirmed

Nigeria’s starting XI for their Women’s Africa Cup of Nations semi-final clash against Morocco has been released.

Chiamaka Nnadozie starts in goal, while Christy Ucheibe, Ngozi Okobi-Okeoghene, and Halimatu Ayinde keep their places in midfield.

Rasheedat Ajibade who scored the winner against Cameroon in the quarter-final also starts.

The Super Falcons have reached the last of the competition 11 times out of 11.

The current champions have been stopped at this stage on just two occasions – in 2008 and 2015.

Coincidentally, both tournaments were hosted and won by Equatorial Guinea.

Nigeria XI vs Morocco: Nnadozie; Ohale, Plumptre, Onome, Kanu; Payne, Onumonu, Okobi-Okeoghene, Ajibade, Ayinde, Ucheibe.
