Nantes forward, Moses Simon, has given his verdict on Lionel Messi’s performance for Paris Saint-Germain against his team last weekend.

Recall that Nantes defeated PSG at home thanks to three goals from Randal Kolo, Quentin Merlin and Ludovic Blas, as Neymar’s strike was not enough.

Simon was sensational during the encounter as Nantes outclassed Messi-led PSG last Sunday.

Giving his verdict on Messi’s display, the Nigerian international said the Argentine did well against Nantes, adding that the former Barcelona captain is the greatest player he ever played against.

“Messi is the greatest player I have ever played against. He is phenomenal with the ball. He actually gave a good account of himself in the match against my team. After the match, I exchanged jerseys with him and we had a chat about the game.

“We utilized the chances we had in the first half, and special thanks must go to our goalkeeper, Alban Lafont, who was simply at his best in the game,” Simon told ckdmedia.
