The 2025/2026 football season of the Nigeria National League ( NNL) began on a good note today at the Lafia City Stadium, Nasarawa State.
The season’s opener between Basira FC and Mighty Jets of Jos which was watch by the Governor of Nasarawa State, His Excellency, Engr. Abdullahi Sule and a good number of his executive that included the Commissioner for Justice Isaac Danladi, Sports Commissioner, the state APC chairman, Secretary General of Nigeria Football Federation, Dr. Mohammed Sanusi and Chairman of NNL, Mr. George Aluo, witnessed a lot of fireworks and entertaining football artistery by both teams who are in Conference C of the second tier League.
