As earlier predicted, Matchday five (5) was full of surprises with 4 away wins, 5 draws and 10 home wins with a total of 29 goals, out of 21 matches.

Conference A.

Edel v Coal City

This is a major local derby this week. Coal City who ran away with an away win in Umuahia last week. But, against Edel in Enugu, it’s a match that will go either way.

Stormers SC v Abia Comets

It is not the best of time for Abia Comets, as the Umuahia based team has lost virtually all the matches. This week, with a new gaffer in charge, the expectation is that they will return from Ijebu Ode with at least a point.

1472 FC v Madiba

Another local derby that will be very explosive during the week. 1472 lost their first match last week. Against Madiba who are table toppers, will ensure that they run away with a win.

Smart City v Beyond Limits

Smart City will have a lot to play for. They lost to Ekiti United in Ado – Ekiti. This week, they will battle Beyond Limits to a stand still.

Dakkada v Ekiti Utd

Dakkada will not spare Ekiti United in Uyo. They will go all out to grab the three points at stake.

Rovers v Vandrezzer.

Osun Utd v Ijebu Utd.

Osun Utd started as a team on fire, but they fizzled out as the games progressed. They will go all out this week against Ijebu Utd

Tradesafe v Ikorodu City

Tradesafe defeated Giant Brillars last week in Enugu, while Ikorodu City whitewashed Gateway by four goals to nil. This week, it will be an exchange of fireworks, as both teams struggle for the vital points

This is a mouth watering encounter involving two north central teams that dropped from the Premiership at the end of last season. This is a match that will show case the quality of football in the League. It’s a match that can go either way.

City FC v Malumfashi

The Citizens from Abuja got a positive bragging right from Dutse last week. But against Malumfashi this week, the City boys will want to consolidate on their last week result.

Sokoto Utd v Sporting Supreme

Sokoto United will surely have their hands full this week against Sporting Supreme of Abuja. The Abuja boys will be a hard nut for them to crack.

Adamawa Utd v Mailantarki Care
