NNL Super-4: Adeboye Thanks Organisers For Special Merit Award, Hails All Competing Clubs

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s senior special assistant on grassroots sports development, Prince Adeyinka Anthony Adeboye has thanked the leadership of Nigerian National League (NNL) for honouring him with a merit award.

Sports247 reports that a formal presentation of the special merit award was done at the end of this year’s NNL Super-4 at Remo Stars Stadium in Ikenne, Ogun State on Friday, where SSA Adeboye was among the guests of honour.

The erudite grassroots sports promoter and chairman of SmartCity FC of Lagos was ably represented at the Super-4 closing ceremony by his special assistant on media and CEO of 247SportsNetworkLimited (Sports247.ng), Mr Jide-Ojo Olusola, who thanked the organisers for the gesture.

He also commended the NNL’s leadership for organising a great event to climax the Super-4 that began on Monday at the same and praised all the teams for their high standard of play throughout the competition.

He enthused that they all gave a confirmation of progress in the domestic game and showed signs of better things to come from them next season in the Nigerian Professional Football League (NPFL).
