The New Nigeria People’s Party (NNPP) has announced significant changes to its identity, unveiling a new logo and slogan aimed at revitalizing its image following its perceived setbacks in the 2023 general elections.
The party has discarded its former logo, characterized by a predominantly green background with touches of blue and a motif of agricultural produce. In its place, the NNPP now features a bold red and white background, prominently displaying a book and academic wig at its center. Concurrently, the party has replaced its former slogan “Peace, equity and progress” with “Education for all.”

Acting National Chairman, Dr. Ajuji Ahmed, introduced the new logo and slogan during a press briefing where he acknowledged that logistical considerations will necessitate the old logo’s continued use on the ballot for the September 21 governorship election in Edo State. However, he confirmed that the new logo will debut during the Ondo governorship elections.
Dr. Ahmed emphasized the significance of these changes, stating, “Today marks a turning point for the New Nigeria People’s Party. We are presenting our new logo to Nigerian voters, approved by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), which will now feature in every election in Nigeria.”
He added, “These updates were unveiled during the NNPP’s National Executive Committee meeting in April and have been incorporated into our new constitution, signaling a shift towards greater transparency and accountability within the party.”
The unveiling of the new logo underscores NNPP’s commitment to engaging voters with a refreshed identity aimed at resonating with contemporary political challenges and aspirations.
