Abia Warriors had a hope of picking a home three points but they were stopped by the visiting Uyo boys which demoted them to 16th position on the log table with 18 points while Akwa still maintained their 6th position with 27 points.

Meanswhile one of the Abia Warriors grate fan Ikenna Eze told www.realsportscast24.co.uk after the game that,” I am not happy with the current position of Abia Warriors also with the result of the game against Akwa United.

“We thought the boys will pick the home three points atleast but they lost it all to the visiting team.

“Akwa United i must say have the best goalkeeper in the NPFL, i heard he is a foreigner otherwise he deserve a place in the super eagles team.

“He made too many difficult saves and denied us the home victory at the end. i heard he is a cameroonian international and it shows in his style of keeping.

Akwa will be hosting Rangers International at home this weekend before travelling to Port Harcourt to battle the top team on the league table Rivers United to end the first stanza of the league.
