NPFL: Agoye takes charge at Sunshine Stars

Date:

Nigeria Professional Football League outfit, Sunshine Stars has announced the appointment of Edith Olumide Agoye as their new head coach.

Agoye was sacked by the Shooting Stars Sports Club of Ibadan last month following the team’s dismal showing in the NPFL last season.

He takes over from Cameroon tactician, Emmanuel Deutsch at the Akure club.

His former club, Shooting Stars also unveiled their new helmsman on Monday.

“Edith Agoye has just signed the dotted line to be our new handler, ”reads a tweet on Sunshine Stars’ official Twitter handle.

It is the second time Agoye will be managing a club in the Nigerian top flight after spending close to a decade at Shooting Stars.
