NPFL: Akwa United Can Beat Enyimba In Aba- Ayeni

The head coach of Akwa United Deji Ayeni has targeted victory in their Matchday 2 game against Enyimba FC slated for Wednesday at the Enyimba international Stadium.

The Promise Keeper suffered a surprise home defeat to newly promoted side Bendel Insurance in the new season opening fixture played at the Goodswill Akpabio stadium in Uyo.

Speaking ahead of the match, Ayeni said they’ve worked on their mistakes and they are ready to regain their lost points.

“Victory against Enyimba is not negotiable if Bendel Insurance can come to our backyard and beat us, then we have spoken to ourselves and we’ve made the boys know that we got to be resolute, determined, dedicated and very motivated for us to go back to winning ways.

The results of the day one matches show that if you put your house together you can get 3 points anywhere, so there is nothing other than victory come Wednesday.

We watched the game against Insurance and during the week we work our mistakes to make them corrected”, he said.
