The concluding part of Matchday 15 fixtures of the Nigeria Premier Football League was held on Monday and it was a good outing for Akwa United and Rangers In Uyo.
Both games were played at the Goodswill Akpabio Stadium in Uyo as both Akwa United and Dakkada FC were the home team.
Rangers netted the first goal against Dakkada in the 13th minute through Austin Onyeamachi before Kufre Ebong leveled up in the 23rd minute of the encounter.
All efforts of Dakkada to secure the maximum point were resisted by the Rangers backline as the game ended in a 1-1 draw.
In the second game of the day, Taiye Muritala gave Akwa United the opening goal in the 18th minute before Cyril Olisema made it 2-0 in the 29th minute.
Friday Ubong sealed the game with the third goal just before halftime.
Kwara United came into the second half strongly and got their well-deserved conciliatory goal in the 50th minute through Samad Kadiri to make the result a respectable 3-1 for Afonja Warriors.
