Evans Ogenyi has been appointed as the new Chief Coach of Nigeria Professional Football League side, Rivers United.
The former Warri Wolves gaffer will serve as a direct replacement for Fatai Osho who left the club at the end of the 2022-23 NPFL season.
Ogenyi said it was an easy decision to join the Stanley Eguma-led coaching crew.
“After speaking with Coach Stanley Eguma, it was a really easy decision to join the coaching set-up here,” he told the club’s official website.
“It’s an exciting time to become part of this great team and I’m looking forward to working with everyone more closely on and off the pitch.
“I love this club and it’s such a great feeling to be here.”
