Nasarawa United head coach, Bala Nikyu has assured the club fans that the team will improve during the second half of the season.
The Solid Miners recorded two wins from nine matches in the first half of the season.
The experienced tactician has come under intense criticism following the team’s poor showing.
Amid calls for his resignation, Nikyu is upbeat the team’s fortune will change when the league resume.
“I know the fans are hungry for results and it is my responsibility to produce it on the pitch,” he told DAILY POST.
“We as a team working hard to improve on our result and the fans will surely see improvement in the second half of the season.,” he added.
The Lafia club will face Remo Stars when the NPFL resume on March 25.
