NPFL: Niger Tornadoes outshine Dakkada 2-1 in Uyo

Niger Tornadoes produced a superb performance as they beat their hosts Dakkada 2-1 at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium, Uyo, on Saturday.

It was the Ikon Allah’s second away victory in the 2022/23 Nigeria Premier Football League season.

The visitors took the lead as early as the sixth minute through David Okoromi.

Okoromi dribbled his way into the Dakkada box before firing into the net.

Jonas Emmanuel added the second nine minutes later with a sublime effort.

Abubakar Bala’s side withstood pressure from Dakkada, who were keen to get back into the game.

Aniekan Ekpe reduced the deficit for the home team from the penalty spot in the 94th minute.

The other matchday 10 matches will be played on Sunday.
