The management of Gombe United led by the chairman Dr Larry Daniel, today gave a pat on the back of Governor Inuwa Yahaya led administration for pushing it weight on the club through out the 2020/2021 Nigeria National league (NNL) season.
He also commended the technical crew led by Aliyu Zubairu and the players for gaining promotion back to the NPFL against all odds.
Addressing the players at their hotel, the Gombe United’s boss said the present administration has always been there for the club and is confidence very soon they will reap the dividends of their labour.
Contributing,a board member, Abubakar Yellow expressed gratitude to the Emir of Gombe Dr Abubakar Shehu Abubakar III for his fatherly advice and support to the Savannah Scorpions, urging the players to continue to be patience as they working assidously to settle all their entitlements.
Coach Aliyu Zubairu on his part assured to work with all the players in the upcoming NPFL season and appreciated the management for how they struggle to ensure that the club honour all their NNL away matches.
The captain of the club, Alhassan Yusuf while thanking the management of the club for always attending to them, assured to justify the confidence reposed in them in the NPFL.
The club used the medium to bid farewell to it Chief Coach Mohammed Mohammed who was appointed as the new Technical Adviser of NNL side Sokoto United.
