NPFL: Rangers set to appoint Fidelis Ilechukwu as new boss

Fidelis Ilechukwu will not continue in his role as the head coach of Plateau United ahead of the coming season.

The former MFM FC boss has decided not to renew his contract at the club, paving way for him to join another team.

The highly rated tactician is now set to team up with Enugu Rangers ahead of next campaign, according to reports.

Rangers won the race for his signature and bar any last minute changes, he will replace Abdul Maikaba as the Flying Antelopes gaffer.

Ilechukwu emerged as the first choice to replace Maikaba after the Flying Antelopes disappointing campaign.

Official announcement is expected to be made in the coming days,” suggests Lagos-based Brila FM.

Ilechukwu joined Plateau United after his exit from Heartland of Owerri. He guided the Peace Boys to CAF Champions League place in his first season.
