Nigeria Professional Football League club, Remo Stars have announced the return of Daniel Ogunmodede as head coach of the side.
Ogunmodede guided the Ikenne club to the NPFL in the 2020/21 season.
The young tactician, however, spent last season at the Portuguese club, CD Feirense where he was one of the assistant coaches.
He is now ready to step back to his old position after gaffer, Gbenga Ogunbote quit the post at the end of last season.
Ogunbote, who has been linked with the Shooting Stars job guided Sky Blue to a third position in the NPFL last term.
Remo Stars will compete in the CAF Confederation Cup for the first time next season by virtue of their position in the Nigerian top flight.
“For me, it’s not a new environment, it’s my domain, I have been there for years, now I’m back to the fold, though on a bigger platform,” Ogunmodede said.
“The most important thing is to sustain the culture of the team, we are known for developing young ones and taking them to the limelight, we also want to win and remain consistent.”
