NPFL: Wikki Tourists bus breaks down, players spend night on highway

Wikki Tourists FC players and officials traveling to Akwa Ibom State yesterday via road to honour their Nigeria Professional Football League Match Day 2 against Dakkada FC reportedly spent the night on the road in Otukpo, Benue State after their team bus broke down and effort to get it repaired proved abortive 

According to Nigeria Football News, the club management were contacted but no there was response, so the players put fire on the road which kept them warm through out the cold night. 

The report added that team has chattered another bus, and had continued their journey to the venue of the Match-day 2 mid-week tie.

Wikki Tourists lost 0-2 at home to Niger Tornadoes in their first NPFL match last Sunday
