NPFL2021/22: Ngweni, Konguep In A Titanic Battle in port Harcourt on Sunday

The last Nigeria Professional Football League game before the half way mark of the 2021/2022 season takes place at the Adokiye Amiesimaka Stadium on Sunday as Rivers United host Akwa United.

The Pride of Rivers have enjoyed some of the best form this season as they currently top the NPFL log with 39 points and will be banking on this consistency to finish as leaders going into the mid-season break.

Two players who ply their trade in NPFL set to face each other on Sunday at the Adokiye Amiesimaka Stadium in Port Harcourt and bragging rights is at stake.

Despite the team bad performance against Rangers FC in Uyo, Akwa interim Coach Ali Jolomi would do everything possible  to turn the table around in Port Harcourt to stop the unbeaten run of the “Pride of Rivers”.
