Super Eagles goalkeeper Stanley Nwabali has kicked off his assignment with Chippa United almost immediately on return from the 34th AFCON where he shone line a millions stars.
The Nigeria international who bagged national, state and community awards following his heroics at the Nations Cup was in goal for Chippa United on Friday March 1st as they visited Stellenbosch.
The encounter ended 1-1 with Nwabali conceding in the 68th minute just like his opposite counterpart A. Van Wyk conceded in the 42nd minute.

Nwabali kept the hosts checked despite playing away.
Chippa United will next host Richards Bay on Wednesday March 6th in continuation of South Africa’s Professional Soccer League (PSL).Stellenbosch are fourth on the ladder with Chippa currently 12th on the 16-club legue with 20 points in 18 matches.
