Super Eagles goalkeeper Stanley Nwabali has commenced pre-season training with Chippa United amidst speculation about his future with the club.
Nwabali’s stellar performances for Chippa United last season have drawn interest from multiple clubs within and outside South Africa.
The 28-year-old particularly impressed during Nigeria’s campaign at the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations in Cote d’Ivoire, where he secured four clean sheets, contributing to the Super Eagles’ second-place finish in the tournament.
Among the clubs reportedly eyeing Nwabali are Saudi Arabian side El-Ettifaq and England’s Sky Bet Championship outfit Queens Park Rangers.

Additionally, South African club Orlando Pirates has shown interest in acquiring the goalkeeper.
Despite the speculation, no firm offers have been tabled for Nwabali, who previously played for Enyimba and Katsina United.
