Olu of Warri Meets FIFA President Infantino, Others In Qatar

The Olu of Warri, His Majesty Ogiame Atuwatse III on Sunday met FIFA President Gianni Infantino and General Secretary Fatma Samoura at the Qatar 2022 World Cup.

The monarch who was received by the Infantino and Samoura also met legendary Italian Referee, Pierluigi Collina at the Ahmad Bin Ali Stadium, where he watched Costa Rica beat Japan by a lone goal.

Atuwatse, the 21st Olu of Warri who watched one of the matches lined up for Sunday, held brief talks with the world football leaders during the half-time break.

He joins the long list of VVIPs and VIPs that have and will be attending the World Cup matches in Qatar.
