Defenders Kenneth Omeruo and Calvin Bassey sat out training on Wednesday casting doubt on their availability for the Super Eagles friendly against the Black Stars of Ghana.
The Super Eagles had their second training session ahead of the game in Marrakech on Wednesday night.
The duo have today’s training session to prove their readiness for the game.
Omeruo and Bassey played crucial role in Nigeria’s impressive showing at the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations where the Super Eagles came second.
Caretaker head coach, Finidi George can count on Semi Ajayi and Chidozie Awaziem as capable replacements in case the two players failed to prove their fitness before the game.

The Super Eagles will be without a number of key star for the friendlies against Ghana and Mali.
The likes of Victor Osimhen, Taiwo Awoniyi, Tyrone Ebuehi abd Gabriel Osho have been forced to withdraw from the squad due to injury.
The Super Eagles will take on Ghana at the Grande Stade de Marrakech on Friday and also face Mali at the same venue next week Tuesday.
