Super Falcons delivered a strong statement ahead of the FIFA Women’s World Cup, with an emphatic win over Co-host New Zealand.

The former African champions concluded their latest international break with a 3-0 win over New Zealand at the Mardan Stadium in Antalya, Turkey, on Tuesday.

Goals from Onome Ebi, Jennifer Echegini and Desire Oparanozie secured the win for the Falcons who defeated Haiti 2-1 at the same venue few days ago.

Reacting to the results recorded on the tour Onome Ebi tweeted: ”Excellent performance. What a way to round up our international break. Thank you all for your support. We keep going strong.”

Nigeria will battle Australia, Canada and The Republic of Ireland at the World Cup.
