Club Brugge midfielder Raphael Onyedika, Augsburg’s Frank Onyeka, and Amas Obasogie were the early arrivals at the Super Eagles training camp in Abidjan ahead of Thursday’s pivotal 2025 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against Benin.
Also in camp yesterday were Moses Simon, Bruno Onyemaechi , Samuel Chukwueze, Gabriel Osho and Fisayo Dele-Bashiru even as officials were still expecting more players last night.
Home team Benin are already settled for the game as the bulk of the 25-man squad has jetted in.
Nigeria won the first leg of the AFCON qualifiers 3-0 in September in Uyo.
Benin will need a result in the reverse tie to keep alive their hopes of qualifying for the AFCON to be staged by Morocco in December 2025.
