ONYIA ENJOYING GOOD FORM WITH INTER LAGOS FC

Former Flying Angels Fc player Daniel Onyia, is happy with the current fine run of form he is having with Nigeria National League and Lagos based side, Inter Lagos Football Club and has stated that he will continue to put in his best for the club to the that they achieve success at the end of the season.

Since joining the club, the Central Midfielder who is also comfortable playing as an Attacking midfielder has had a handful of appearances for Inter Lagos FC this season, although the exciting playmaker and a member of the Nduka Ugbade led U-17 team of 2023, is still looking to get on the score-sheet in the current campaign.

Responding to questions from Newsmen, Daniel said his team have rediscovered their form and he is happy to be making meaningful contributions to the team’s resurgent form. In his words, he said ; “ I am very happy with the team’s form. At the start of the season, we struggled a bit but all of that has now changed and we have had a resurgent form which has seen us won some crucial points both at home and away from home, even against teams that were tipped as favourites against us.

‘I am currently enjoying my game and fast settling down here. I started the last game and despite the game ending in a 0-0 draw, I gave my very best for the team. We are looking forward to our next game and with our form, we are hopeful of a positive outcome in our next game’’ concluded the midfield maestro.

Inter Lagos have not lost a game in their last seven appearances and are now currently second behind Ikorodu City, having amassed a total of 17 points with 5 wins, 2 draws and 3 losses in ten games.
