Dr. Emu assessed key locations, including the Stephen Keshi International Stadium, the Cenotaph (now repurposed as a sports center), the state-of-the-art hockey pitch, and the hostel accommodations at Dennis Osadebey University. He confirmed that the competition venues, lodging, and transportation arrangements are in excellent condition and highlighted the robust security measures in place to ensure the safety of all participants.

The inspection covered various facilities, such as the main bowl, indoor sports halls, swimming pool, and VIP lounges. At Dennis Osadebey University, Dr. Emu reviewed the quality of beddings, toilet facilities, electricity, and water supply, and even sampled the food provided for the athletes.

“We are ready,” Dr. Emu declared. “Our facilities are top-notch, and everything is well-maintained. We could start the competition today if necessary. The Local Organizing Committee has done a fantastic job, and I am confident we will meet His Excellency’s expectations.”
