Organisers announced new kick off time for Naija Super Eight tourney

Organisers of the Naija Super Eight tournament have announced a new kick-off time for the playoffs.

The adjustment was due to the broadcast schedule clashes of the media partners.

Though the fixtures remain unchanged, the kick-off time has been shifted backward.

The Naija Super Eight playoff will begin on Friday at the Eket Stadium, Uyo.

Lobi Stars will lock horns with City FC at 1 p.m., while Shooting Stars will take on archrivals Remo Stars at 4 p.m.

Saturday’s fixtures will see Yobe Desert battle with Gombe United, while Enyimba slug it out with Heartland.

The final fixture of the playoffs, which is on Sunday, will have Kano Pillars versus Katsina United, while Rivers United play Bendel Insurance.

The winner of the single header matches will qualify for the Naija Super Eight finals to be held between July 7 and 16.

The tournament is billed for the Mobolaji Johnson Arena, Onikan Lagos.
