Oshoala Ends Celebation Of Hat-trick Feat

Barcelona Femeni of Spain attacker, Asisat Oshoala has put behind her the glee of banging a hat-trick in last weekend’s pre-season game with her club, as she says she has to get down to real business ahead of the coming season.

Oshoala was grinning from ear-to-ear, as she celebrated with her on-fire teammates, after the rain of goals that totally thrilled their fans on Sunday, with many observers noting how much of an impact it was from the three-time African Women Footballer of The Year, considering that she struck her treble under 45 minutes.

Also netting a hat-trick like Oshoala was Mariona, while Hamraoui got a brace, with a goal each coming off the boots of Losada, Torrejón, Aitana and Hermoso, during a game that saw Patri Guijarro return from seven months of injury to star for Barcelona, with debuts also in favour of three new signings, Graham Hansen, Jenni Hermoso and Andrea Falcón.

Oshoala admitted she was glad to make her mark in her very first pre-season game for The Catalan side, but added that she must not continue celebrating for too long, as training is now heating up.

The former FC Robo Queens of Lagos, Rivers Angels of Port Harcourt, as well as ex-Liverpool Ladies and Arsenal of England and Dalian Quanjian of China star acknowledged that she and her teammates have to keep working in order to set themselves up for a better campaign this time.

She took to social media to reveal her thoughts for the coming days, into which the three-time African Women Footballer of The Year hinted that she will not rest on her oars, despite starting very well on her return to club action, in what was her first ever pre-season game with Barca.

Oshoala posted: “First pre season game. We keep working. #Preseason @FCBfemeni.”
