FC Barcelona Femeni of Spain striker, Asisat Oshoala has pushed aside the disappointment of her team’s first loss of the season, on an evening she scored two goals that were insufficient to save them from falling.

Oshoala finally overcame the agony she felt, following Barca’s 3-2 loss away to Sporting Huelva, as she wondered why her goals could not save the day for her team.

Oshoala scored her first goal after hitting the cross bar with her first shot on target in the Primera Division Spanish Women’s League fixture.

However, it was not as rosy an end as when Oshoala scored on her debut appearance, when her team won away to Rayo Vallecano on Sunday.

Oshoala was left bitter-sweet in her second match for The Catalans, as Huelva roared back in the second-half and took all three points with goals by Amih Raquel, Georgina Anita and Fernando Bonsegundo.

Both sizzlers, which started and ended the game’s score, took Oshoala’s haul to three goals in two games, but she got a yellow card for her effort, as her side lost for the first time and ended a four game winning streak.

However, rather than dwell on the setback too long the Super Falcons’ star, who is on loan from Dalian Quanjian of China, took to social media to declare that he term will bounce back.

The three-time African Women Footballer of The Year, who has also played for Liverpool Ladies and Arsenal Women in England, said she is sure of a revival for The Catalanas, because they will keep working hard.

Oshoala affirmed: “Lost but glad to score 2 goals today. We keep fighting @FCBfemeni #AlhamdulilahAlways.”
