Arsenal could sign Napoli star Victor Osimhen in a swap deal that would see two of Mikel Arteta’s players leaving the Emirates, reports suggest.
The Gunners have reportedly prioritised the signing of a striker this summer and Osimhen, 25, appears to be among their top targets after his stunning displays in Italy.
According to Corriere dello Sport, the Partenopei have not received any offers for the Nigeria international yet and the club is unlikely to budge on the player’s €130million (£110.8m) release clause.
The report adds that Osimhen is keen on a move to the Premier League and the North Londoners have “recently resurfaced” as one of the interested clubs.
The same source claims that the centre-forward’s high price tag could only reduce if Arsenal agree to let two players move to Napoli.
Those are Emile Smith Rowe and Takehiro Tomiyasu, who are highly rated at the Diego Armando Maradona Stadium.
The Naples outfit wanted to sign Tomiyasu, 25, in the last January transfer window before the full-back signed a new contract in March until 2026.
Smith Rowe only managed three Premier League starts this season and Arteta appears open to offers with Fulham also keen on the playmaker.

Osimhen, who is also targeted by Chelsea, is reportedly keen on a move to the Emirates and is waiting for an Arsenal offer.
And SunSport revealed Arteta’s side is looking to make room at the front by selling Eddie Nketiah, who is targeted by Fulham, Crystal Palace, Wolves and Everton.
RB Leipzig star Benjamin Sesko is also strongly linked with the Premier League giants ahead of the summer transfer window.
Newcastle star Alexander Isak has been touted as a target as well but the Magpies are not interested in letting him go.
Arsenal came close to their first Prem title in 20 years this season and many claim they were let down by their lack of a quality No9.
