Osimhen will get Super Eagles flying again — Oliseh

Former Super Eagles head coach, Sunday Oliseh believes red-hot Victor Osimhen will get the team firing once again.

Osimhen took over from Odion Ighalo as Super Eagles’ leading marksman after the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations in Egypt.

The former Lille of France hitman has registered 15 goals in 22 appearances for the three-time African champions.

The 23-year-old further underlined his reputation as one of the best strikers in the game at the moment by scoring a sublime goal in Napoli’s 1-0 win against Jose Mourinho’s AS Roma at the weekend.

The sensational match winner has got the whole world talking about the class of the striker and Oliseh has joined the list of his admirers.

“Osimhen makes me very optimistic concerning the Super Eagles’ resurgence!” Oliseh said on Twitter while commenting on the striker’s goal against Roma.

“What a classy lethal finish, full of pace, power, precision and self-belief.”

Osimhen has scored three goals in his last three outings for the Partenopei.
