Flying Angels FC CEO and Club Proprietor, Emeka Onyia has stated that their preparation for the 2024 football season is in top gear.
Flying Angels FC were losing finalist in last year’s edition of the Enugu State league losing the final to Inter FC of Enugu by a goal to nil.
Despite a recent setback in a friendly match against Rangers Int’l FC of Enugu, where Flying Angels FC lost by three goals to nil, Onyia expressed in a recent media interview that this result would not deter them, and it would have no negative impact on their ongoing preparations for the upcoming season.
Onyia stated, “Our preparation for the 2024 football season is progressing exceptionally well. Since our resumption on January 9, we have played three games – winning one, losing one, and drawing one. We are firmly on track with our preparation. The purpose of these preparatory games is to ensure that we are in peak condition for the upcoming season. We will be participating in the Federation Cup and the Enugu State league, aiming to surpass our performance from last season. Having reached the final last year, where we narrowly lost to Inter FC, our goal this season is to exceed that achievement.
