Banyana Banyana of South Africa head coach, Desiree Ellis remains confident that her side still have a chance of earning a place at the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris.
The African champions lost the first leg of the final qualifying round fixture 1-0 in Abuja last Friday.
The second leg is billed for the Lotfus Versfeld Stadium, Pretoria on Tuesday.
With the away goal rule removed from the equation, there is no doubt that it will be a keenly contested tie.

“Looking forward to the game tomorrow, we have looked at the footage [first game] as well. We know we are better than what we showed in Nigeria. We can do way better than that, and I think the second half showed how well we can play. It is a match we have to win,” Ellis told safa.net.
“We have to put everything into it to make sure that we get the goal early to be able to kickstart from there. We know it won’t be easy, Nigeria got the one goal advantage and we have to prepare for every eventuality.”
