Paris 2024 Qualifier: Super Falcons To Face Winners Between Ethiopia And Chad

Nigeria’s Super Falcons have been drawn bye in the first round of the 2024 Women’s Olympic Games qualifier.

Among the 25 countries that entered for the qualifies, the Nigerian side was among the seven countries that were drawn bye for the first round.

With the exemption of the Top 7, the remaining 18 countries will play in the first round where nine teams will join the seven for the second round of 16 teams. Eight will advance to the Third Round where another four will be eliminated. The last four will then battle for the two African slots for Paris 2024.

The Second Round qualifiers are slated to commence in July.

According to the draw, Super Falcons will face the winners between Ethiopia and Chad in the second round of the qualifier.

Falcons will hope to return to the ancient games after missing out on the last edition that was held in Tokyo, Japan.

The second-round winner will move into the 3rd round before the final round of the qualifiers.
