Paris 2024: Super Falcons will bounce back from Brazil defeat, says Sports Minister

Nigeria’s Sports Minister, John Enoh, has expressed confidence that the Super Falcons will rebound from their 1-0 loss to Brazil.

The defeat, which occurred at the Matmut Atlantique Stadium in Bordeaux on Thursday night, was marked by a decisive goal from Gabi Nunes, who scored eight minutes before halftime.

Despite the setback, Enoh remains optimistic about the Super Falcons’ prospects in the 2024 Olympic Games. “Our hopes for this team are high.

I leave here with strong hope that the Super Falcons can still qualify,” Enoh stated following the match.

The Super Falcons will face world champions Spain in their next group game on Sunday.
