Peace Cup Get March 18 Kickoff Date

The inaugural edition of Peace Cup competition in Lagos will kick off March 18 – 22 organisers have disclosed.

The tournament which will be played at the Legacy Pitch, Surulere, Lagos is put together by Afro Euro Vest Zenithal in conjunction with FC Bethel Sporting.

Some of the top teams expected at the tournament are: FC Bethel Sporting, Charlesann FC, Box 2 Box FC, Glorious Day FC, Sult De King FC, Emmydinho FC, Team 360 FC and Utility FC. Others are Nath Boys FC, Dominion Hotspur FC, Collins Edwin FC and FC Bethel Sporting 2.

According to organisers, top European scouts will be coming from Italy and Netherland with the main purpose of identifying suitable talents for the coming summer transfer window.

Meanwhile, there will be a giant trophy for the winners and a handsome prize money  reward, although the exact amount has yet to be ascertained as at the time of this report.

Sult de king FC is from Ibadan while Utility FC is based at Ijebu Ode.

The competition will be an annual event.
