Pereira Reveals What Rodgers Told Iheanacho, Ndidi, Others

Brendan Rodgers has told his Leicester City players that “there’s plenty more to come”, fullback Ricardo Pereira has revealed. They include the Super Eagles duo of Wilfred Ndidi and Kelechi Iheanacho.

The newly appointed manager visited the dressing room at the conclusion of Tuesday night’s 2-1 win over Brighton.

“The manager is looking forward to working with us, he wants us to have a lot of quality and to improve us,” said the Portugal international.

“It was a good speech. He said good things are yet to come. He is looking for that from us.

“He said that we played a good game, but he thinks we will play better.

“From what I heard, he is a good coach. He likes to play good football. I think with the quality we have here, he’s going to be good for us.”
