PFAN Announces 10-man Reconciliation Committee

The Professional Footballers Association of Nigeria (PFAN) has set up a ten-man reconciliation committee.

The Committee is inaugurated as some members of the break-away faction are lobbying their way back to the Players Union.

This announcement was made in a statement signed by the Secretary General of the body, Emmanuel Babayaro.

The statement reads, “the President of PFAN, Tijani Babangida has approved the following as members of the Reconciliation Committee. Clement Temile as Chairman, Dr Brown Ogbeifun. Emmanuel Babayaro as Secretary, Edema Fuludu, Mutiu Adepoju, Magaji Abdul Boss, Joshua Kator, Ikechukwu Ewezor, Mrs Rotimi Michael, Victor Ezeji. 

The committee is to liaise with the NFF Reconciliation Committee headed by the Edo State Deputy Governor Philip Shaibu on behalf of PFAN .

The committee is expected to report back to the PFAN executive council for briefings before final positions can be accepted and ratified by the president, Tijani Babangida.
