The academy’s CEO, Israel Odige while speaking to our reporter said his team has the capacity and ability to hold their own at the top scouting program.
“I have heard much about the SPOCS Scouting Tournament, but I think my team will compete favourably well. They have the capability and ability to hold their own”, he said.
According to the team’s coach, Daniel Freeman Uba, he’s read the riot act to the players. “We’re not playing, we want to make an impact at the tournament. It’s non-negotiable and that’s the reason we are pushing the boys so hard to get their best.
“We’re scouting for more top talents to strengthen those aeas in the team we feel are weak.
“I think we will be ready before the tournament, he noted confidently”.
PGI have played a couple of games recently winning all to underline their level of preparedness.
The academy is though newly formed but has hit the ground running, as they look to make their mark in football in Nigeria.
