Police arrest 28 suspects from black spots in Lagos

The Rapid Response Squad of the Lagos State Police Command has announced the arrest of about 28 suspects from different black spots across the state.

The arrest was made known by RRS on Sunday via a terse statement posted on its official X handle.

The suspects, according to the post, were arrested from Ketu, OldToll Gate, Mile 12 Underbridge and Motorways.

The post added that the suspects, who were nabbed on Thursday, would be charged to court.

“Some of the notorious areas where the suspects were arrested include Ketu, Mile 12 Underbridge, OldToll Gate and Motorways.

“The 28 suspects were those screened from 46 others earlier arrested during an overnight operation. 18 of the suspects were released after thorough screening.

“The 28 suspects are to be charged to court in line with the directive of the Commissioner of Police, CP Adegoke Fayoade”, the statement added.
