No fewer than 21 secondary school students have been arrested by the Edo State Police Command for allegedly plotting a violent cult attack.
The suspects, all pupils of Ogioma Public Secondary School, were reportedly planning to attack Osemwende Secondary School.
Acting on a tip-off, police arrested the students and recovered weapons including knives and a chain from their possession.

Edo Police spokesman, Moses Yamu, stated that the suspects had circulated a threatening voice note, in which they boasted of plans to unleash violence, burn down the school, and harm both students and staff.
The statement said the students were aged between 14 and 17.
Yamu said eight of the suspects have been remanded to Correctional Centre and 13 released to their parents/guardians.
