Portable set to release song after release from custody

Date:

Nigerian singer, Habeeb Okikiola, also known as Portable, is back in the studio after his release from police custody following a disagreement with a car dealer over failed debt payment for his G-Wagon SUV.

The singer, on Thursday, shared a poster of a soon-to-be-released new song titled “Spiderman”.

The title of the song may be connected with his rare agility when he attempted to escape police arrest by jumping over an iron gate before he was eventually arrested.

The song alludes to the singer’s flying prowess in relation to how he jumped over a gate to evade arrest.

The arrest incident captured in a viral video that circulated on Tuesday, showed the singer scaling a gate before taking to his heels.

After spending 24 hours in custody, the “Zazuu” crooner regained his freedom after meeting the bail conditions set for his release.
