PSG board unhappy with team player who tries to mimic Messi, Neymar, Mbappe

Paris Saint-Germain are baffled by striker Hugo Ekitike’s attempts to mimic the playing styles of forwards Lionel Messi, Neymar and Kylian Mbappe.

According to L’Equipe, some members of the PSG board are less than pleased with the attitude and performance of Ekitike.

Ekitike, who made waves last season at Reims, has struggled to live up to expectations in his debut campaign with PSG.

Despite a hefty €40million price tag hanging over his head this summer, rumors are swirling that the 20-year-old could be on his way out of the Parisians just a year after arriving.

Ekitike’s performances have raised eyebrows, but it is his attitude that has truly irked PSG’s decision-makers.

They believe the youngster is trying too hard to imitate the flair and skill of Messi, Neymar and Mbappe, resulting in a disjointed and less effective playing style.

Ekitike’s inability to adapt and find his own footing in the team’s starting XI has left the club’s management displeased.
