PSG chief Leonardo met face-to-face with Man Utd midfielder Pogba

Paris Saint-Germain chief, Leonardo has met face-to-face with Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba.

Off contract in June, Pogba is expected to be allowed to leave by United this summer.

Foot Mercato says Leonardo is prioritising Pogba’s signing and recently met with the France midfielder about a return home to Paris.

The response was positive, with Pogba and his family keen to see the move happen.

United made Pogba an ‘exceptional’ new contract offer in October, which he rejected. PSG’s rivals Juventus, meanwhile, do not have the spending power to match the Parisiens.

As such there’s growing confidence that Leonardo will soon secure Pogba’s signature for PSG.
